USA Bat Frequently asked Questions
Beginning in 2018, Little League International will adopt the new USA Baseball bat standard. Bats that are currently legal in Intermediate division and below will NOT be legal in 2018. Senior division will continue to use BBCOR bats.
As many of you are aware, Little League has changed the bat standards for this coming season, effective January 1st, 2018. DLL, like all other LLs, will be required to follow this change.

These new bats are designed to have a wood-like performance. They will now be allowing barrel sizes up to 2 5/8".
The new bats will be available, apparently, beginning sometime in the Fall.

The previous bats will be fine for Fall Ball, so no need to worry about that.
